Hello and welcome to our auction rules. Please have a fun time bidding and enjoy the books you’ve won. Our auction rules are here to keep things as simple as possible. Bidding

The dollar amount you place will become the new current bid. For example, if you bid $50, $50 is the new bid. IT DOES NOT SET A NEW SECRET MAXIMUM, The number you bid is simply your new bid.

Minimum bids

 To prevent people from increasing bids by 1 cent, we have implemented a minimum next bid that is visible from the bid window.

Notifications

If a new bidder outbids you will receive an email notifying you that you’ve been outbid.

Auction Ending

The auction ends exactly at the time the product ends listed on the website unless there is a bid received in the last one minute and thirty seconds. In the event of a bid received with less than one minute and thirty seconds, the clock will reset to one minute and thirty seconds. 

Payments

You will receive an invoice after the auction is complete. Payments are due within 14 days. All orders over $10,000 will be paid via Wire Transfer.  You are responsible for all taxes if shipping within California. We accept reseller certs to be tax-exempt.  If you would like to file for tax exemption, please Google Reseller Permit for your state.

Return Policy

For auctions, we do not accept returns. All sales are final.

International Orders

All winners that are based internationally must be paid via wire transfer and cover any fees associated with the order.  If paying from a US bank please make sure to select ACH so that you will not be hit with any fees.  International payments can take 3-5 business days excluding any international holidays.  

International Shipments

We do not have the ability at this time to ship internationally.  If you have a freight forwarder that will handle all international paperwork or someone in the continental United States we are more than happy to ship to them.  They will be responsible for any Bill of Landing, HTS information, AES declarations, etc.  Since we ship Ex-works our responsibility ends as soon as the order leaves our threshold.  We package to the highest standards in the industry please ensure that your freight forwarder keeps our packaging intact. 

Grades

We grade to the best of our ability based on industry standards. We place high-definition photos on the website for you to see. Bid according to what you feel comfortable bidding based on the images you see. We do not guarantee that a third-party grading company will give a comic the same grade we do.
